About

At American Legion Post 54, our Legionnaires are proud veterans who have served our country with honor, dedication, and sacrifice. From the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard, and Space Force, our members come from many different walks of life — united by a shared commitment to service, patriotism, and community.


But being a Legionnaire is about more than military service. It’s about continuing to serve after the uniform comes off.

Our members work together to support fellow veterans, military families, youth programs, local charities, and community events throughout Coolidge and the surrounding Arizona communities. Whether it’s hosting fundraisers, supporting memorial events, volunteering time, mentoring younger generations, or organizing community gatherings, our mission remains rooted in helping others and strengthening our community.

Post 54 is also home to a strong family atmosphere. We believe in building lifelong friendships, honoring traditions, and creating a welcoming place where veterans and their families can connect, support one another, and continue making a difference together.

We are proud of our history, proud of our service, and proud to continue serving our community every day.

Who Can Join?

Eligibility for The American Legion is based on honorable military service. Veterans who have served in the United States Armed Forces and meet current eligibility requirements are encouraged to join and become part of a legacy of service and camaraderie. Whether you’re looking to reconnect with fellow veterans, give back to the community, support veteran causes, or simply find a place to belong — there is a place for you at Post 54.
