About The Legacy Book

Every veteran leaves behind a legacy that deserves to be remembered. While service records tell us where they served, it is the stories, memories, lessons, laughter, and impact they had on others that truly tell us who they were.

Our Legacy Book was created to honor fallen veterans and preserve their stories for future generations. We invite family members, friends, fellow veterans, and community members to share memories, photos, life lessons, funny moments, and meaningful experiences that celebrate the lives of those who have passed.

You do not need to be a member of our Legion to contribute. Anyone who would like to honor a veteran’s memory is welcome to share.

All questions on this form are optional. Please only share the information, stories, and photos that you feel comfortable providing.

Submissions will be included in both a printed Legacy Book available at the Legion and an online version that can be viewed by others. Our hope is that these memories help keep their stories alive, offering comfort to family and friends while allowing future generations to learn about the remarkable individuals who came before them.

Because while we may lose those we love, their stories and their legacy can live on.
